Dr. Eddy Bekkers
Economist, World Trade Organization (WTO)
He holds a PhD from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a master's degree in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Amsterdam. After serving as Assistant Professor at Johannes Kepler University Linz in Austria, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher on non-tariff measures under the EU-funded PRONTO project at the World Trade Institute (WTI). He currently serves as an Economist working on quantitative trade modelling at the World Trade Organization (WTO), and is also a Research Associate at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw).
