Personal Data Processing Disclosure Notice

Within the scope of the ISTANBUL TRADE CONGRESS organized by Istanbul Ticaret University (the “University”), your personal data submitted by you is processed for the purposes of receiving your congress participation application, carrying out registration procedures, organizing your participation, providing the necessary information regarding the congress, and conducting congress processes.

1- Data Controller

Pursuant to Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), the data controller with respect to your personal data is Istanbul Ticaret University.

2- Personal Data Processed and Purposes of Processing

Within the scope of congress registration and organization processes, the personal data you provide — namely:

First and last name,
Turkish ID (T.C.) Number,
E-mail address,
Year of birth,
Phone number,
Institution,
Title,

may be processed limited to the purposes of carrying out congress registration procedures, creating the participant list, conducting the congress organization, communicating with participants, preparing the congress program, and providing information regarding the congress.

The personal data processed within the scope of carrying out the congress registration and organization processes is processed based on the legal grounds set out in Article 5, paragraph 2, subparagraphs (c) and (f) of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, primarily, as well as other legal grounds appropriate to the nature of the processing activity.

Such personal data will be deleted within a reasonable period in accordance with KVKK once the purpose of processing ceases to exist, and will not be transferred to any third party or institution.

Photographs and/or video recordings of you may be taken during the congress for the purpose of carrying out the event and the University’s corporate communication and promotional activities (such as publication on the website, social media accounts, printed or digital promotional materials, and similar media).

You may submit your requests regarding the rights you hold under Article 11 of KVKK to our University, pursuant to Article 13 of KVKK and relevant legislation, through the contact channels specified below.
