Dr. Ahmet Bağcı

A graduate of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, at Gazi University, Dr. Ahmet Bağcı completed master's degrees at the Graduate School of Social Sciences at Gazi University and at Middlesex University in England, and his PhD in the Department of Economics at the Graduate School of Social Sciences, Gazi University. Having served as a visiting faculty member at the Police Academy and TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETÜ), Dr. Bağcı has held various positions within the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Finance, the Court of Accounts, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the General Secretariat of the Presidency. Having held senior positions at Tarım Kredi Holding A.Ş., Gübre Fabrikaları A.Ş., and the Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperatives, Bağcı served as Counsellor to the EU Delegation in Brussels in 2022–2023, and has served as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry since his appointment in 2023.
