Dr. Erhan Erken

He completed his undergraduate studies in the Department of Public Administration at Boğaziçi University. He received his master's degree from the Institute for Turkic Studies at Marmara University and his PhD from the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Medipol University. Since 1983 he has worked as a founder, manager, and consultant in the advertising, printing, and publishing sectors, and served as Editor-in-Chief of MÜSİAD's Çerçeve magazine. He is among the founders of digital publishing platforms such as Dünya Bülteni and Worldbulletin, and has coordinated and produced various documentaries and TV programmes within Kuzey Haber Ajansı. In the field of education, he has founded several pre-school and primary education institutions. He served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Ticaret University from 2009 to 2013 and was re-elected to the position in January 2023, and has also worked as a Visiting Lecturer at the university. He currently serves as Chairman of the Assembly of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO), 21st term.
