Prof. Dr. M. Said Yazıcıoğlu

Having graduated from the Faculty of Theology at Ankara University in 1971, Yazıcıoğlu completed his PhD at Paris IV Sorbonne University between 1977 and 1983. He became an associate professor in 1983 and a full professor in 1988 at Ankara University's Faculty of Theology, and served as President of the Presidency of Religious Affairs between 1987 and 1992, and as Dean at the same university between 1994 and 2002. He was elected as an AK Party Member of Parliament for Ankara in the 22nd and 23rd terms, and served as Minister of State in the 60th Government. A faculty member at Istanbul Ticaret University since 2012, Yazıcıoğlu served as Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences between 2017 and 2025; he currently holds the title of Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the same faculty and has served as a Member of the University Board of Management since 2025.
