Prof. Dr. Nihat Alayoğlu

Nihat Alayoğlu graduated from the Department of Economics at Hacettepe University in 1990, and completed his MBA at the University of Glamorgan Business School in England in 1994. He received his PhD from the Department of Human Resources Management, Institute of Social Sciences, Istanbul University in 2005. Between 2000 and 2009, he served as Director of UTESAV and as Deputy Secretary General and Secretary General at MÜSİAD. Alayoğlu began his academic career at Istanbul Ticaret University in 2009, becoming an Assistant Professor in 2011, an Associate Professor in 2015 (at Istanbul Medipol University), and a full Professor in 2020. He served as Secretary General of Istanbul Ticaret University between 2012 and 2014. Since 2018, he has served as Secretary General of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO).
